Custom-made bookcase in 19th-century style – An integrated project of architecture and furnishing

Full-height bookcase, handcrafted to measure with a solid wood structure and finishes inspired by 19th-century style. A project followed in every detail: from on-site surveying to executive design, from construction to hand-painted decoration with gold-highlighted accents, through to delivery and final installation.

The layout is marked by columns, capitals, moulded cornices, and decorative pediments, all in harmony with the room’s architecture. Three arched windows have been integrated into the design as luminous niches, allowing natural light to filter through and adding depth to the composition.

Tailored on site like a bespoke garment, this bookcase combines design precision and artisanal skill, becoming a living part of the architecture it inhabits.
