Custom-made solid chestnut entrance door
Entirely handcrafted in our workshop, this solid chestnut wood door was created for the main entrance of a Tuscan farmhouse, set within a stone wall and framed by a pietra serena arched surround. Its rustic and sturdy character is balanced by refined craftsmanship: the horizontal boards are fitted with a sloped interlock, following the finest traditional joinery methods, ensuring long-term strength and stability.
The double-leaf design reflects classical and well-proportioned lines, enhanced by a warm, natural finish that highlights the unique grain of the chestnut wood. The entire structure is assembled using time-honored woodworking techniques, with no prefabricated parts, resulting in a door that combines functionality, beauty, and respect for the architectural heritage of its setting.
