At Bottega Artigianando, every project is born from the meeting of craftsmanship, materials, and design vision. This jewelry box is a tangible example: a small-scale object, yet with all the structural and material complexities typical of our most demanding creations.
The external structure, defined by its curved and enveloping shell, is entirely covered in leather, meticulously crafted to follow the lines of the form without tension, folds, or imperfections.
A result made possible only through a combination of artisan experience, dedicated tools, and careful control at every stage of the process.
The drawers, made from solid ziricote wood, are designed to preserve the continuity of the grain and enhance the extraordinary natural graphic quality of this rare and precious wood species.
Inside, each compartment is divided, lightly padded, and lined with leather, providing a soft and protective space for jewelry or small treasured objects.
The project originates from a design by Massimiliano Lanciano, with whom we’ve been collaborating for some time, and where we once again recognize his characteristic ability to imagine objects outside the conventional schemes—even when dealing with everyday functional pieces.
A strong design vision that, however, requires just as much technical skill and manual expertise during the production phase to bring it to life.
To create such an object, passion and creativity alone are not enough: it takes experience, equipment, intuition, and a craft refined over years of work.
Only in this way can a small container become a true casket of authentic artisanal beauty.
